Program Cars

The primary mission of Wheels4Hope is to provide affordable, reliable transportation to low-wage earners in our community. We are currently serving those in the Triangle and Triad areas of North Carolina.

If you are in these areas, you need to be aware that we place our program cars through referrals made by our partner agencies. If you are connected with one of these agencies, please speak with your caseworker about making a referral to us. If you are not connected to one of these agencies, you may be interested in our public car sales (see below).

We are working hard to increase our capacity and look forward to having a much greater impact on these communities and beyond.

Public Sales

In addition to repairing and selling program cars, Wheels4Hope also sells low-cost cars to the general public. These vehicles, typically in the $1,000-5,000 range, provide opportunities to those with modest means to purchase an affordable vehicle. Every car sold has been carefully assessed and appropriately repaired. They have passed safety tests and are sold with full disclosure. "Public Sale Vehicles" are offered as-is with full disclosure of any known issues (e.g., information provided by the donor and information from Wheels4Hope's assessment and repair process). Those interested in purchasing a vehicle are encouraged to contact the Wheels4Hope garage in your area to learn about vehicles that are currently for sale. We also post cars available for public sale on Craigslist - search "wheels4hope".
